THE CHALLENGE
Too many of our children are being lost, left out, or
left behind as they muddle their way through the difficult
middle school years. These promising adolescents are experiencing
great change. They are undergoing a difficult physical
biochemical metamorphosis as their bodies mature. They
are also facing intense social pressure as they struggle
to redefine who they are and how they relate to their
peers and the adults around them.
Successfully navigating this phase
of their lives will lead to a limitless future where they
can realize their full potential and enjoy their lives
to the fullest. Unfortunately, however, the uncertainty
of this phase in their lives often leads to loss of self-esteem
and disconnection or worse, destructive and antisocial
behavior. Without an opportunity to re-connect, our children
stop dreaming, stop trying, and even stop caring, about
themselves and others. This does not have to happen!

We start by creating an environment where you, the participant,
will truly learn. This means creating an environment of
comfort and trust. It means creating an environment of
fun and excitement. It means requiring that you fully
participate in activities designed to challenge you mentally,
physically and emotionally. It means pushing the limits

It means teaching you how your mind and emotions work
and helping you to discover insights that will dramatically
change the way you think and feel. It means providing
you opportunities to experience thoughts, sensations and
emotions that will improve the way you connect and communicate
with people. It means guiding you through a carefully
choreographed series of intense experiences that will
create immeasurable bonds between you and the other participants
that are not possible in everyday situations. The key
to learning is simple. Say it, you will forget it. Show
it, you might remember. Experience it, you will understand.
